Snips & Snails: Christmas 2012

Grayden had a very spoiled first Christmas. We celebrated the holiday with his dads side of the family on Saturday the 22nd. He got the Luv you Zoo Jumperoo from his Grandma and Grandpa. From some other members of the family he got some cute Harley-Davidson clothes, a front facing and backpack carrier, and a nice lamp for his bedroom.

That Sunday we headed over to my dads to spend the day in our pajamas for our Christmas dinner with them. It was quite the treat to not even have to get up and get dressed! All we had to do was brush our teeth and we were out the door. He got a bunch of little toys including a flip phone, teether, and pop up toy. He also got the cutest little infant sled from Grandpa & Jill. (Can't wait to be pulling him around in it next winter!) We got enough snow for it but for some reason I just don't think it would be the wisest idea to start pulling him around in it being he is just starting to hold his head up on his own. He We also got his highchair for a few months down the road. :) Christmas eve we celebrated with my dads side of the family and had a nice evening with good conversation.

That morning around 3am we made the trek down the state to my Mom's house where we opened gifts that morning in our jammies. Afterwards having Neuske's bacon with french toast bake, eggs, and sausage links. (Yum!) We usually take a nice nap afterwards and being we had to travel 4 hours and was up quite early we sure did take a nice LONG nap. Mom even snuck some pictures in..sneaky bugger! Grayden was spoiled at every Christmas gathering including Grandma Loris where he got a bunch of toys including foam playmats, b. sensory balls, b. squeeze blocks, b. fish & splish boat, a couple baby lit books, the snugamonkey, some outfits, and ooh a pack and play! Now momma & Gray can travel in not only style but comfort! It even has a changing table area on it!
